Corona Public Schools will be on a two hour delay for Thursday, Nov 7.
ATTENTION: Because of the predicted weather in the region for Thursday, the Hondo VB contest may be moved to Wednesday at Hondo at the same time. A decision will be made later today so we can get the contest in for districts.
A notice will be sent out either way once the decision is made.
The Hondo v Corona VB game has been moved to November 6 at 5PM in an effort to avoid incoming weather that is predicted. Players and coaches will be leaving at 1:45PM.

The rescheduled PD/Virtual Learning Day will occur on January 10, 2025. This will be the make up day for the date being moved from November 8, 2024. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
If your child is planning to play basketball they need to get their sports physicals ASAP. The start of the season is upon us. You will need to call for appointments at area clinics.
ATTENTION: The Virtual Learning/Staff Professional Development Day for Friday, November 8, will be rescheduled to a future date as a conflict exists with the presenter and the FFA District Creed Contest being hosted at Corona. A date will be announced soon on the reschedule.

Alamo Navajo has arrived so game time will be as close to 1 as can be.
We just received word that Alamo Navajo's bus broke down. They are working to head this way but the game will be slightly delayed. We will try to keep everyone posted as we receive word.

We are BEYOND proud of our FFA Horse Judging Team. Harper Dunn was the National High Point Individual. Caysie Wood was the National 3rd High Point Individual. The team was the National 3rd Place Team overall with Hitch Dunlap and Kourtney Brandenberger also competing. They were rated as a Gold Star Team. Congratulations, Harper, Caysie, Hitch, Kourtney, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Patterson. Thanks, Pike, for being there to cheer them on.
REMINDER: Tonight, the Elementary is hosting a Math Night open to all students and parents. Student must be accompanied by a parent to attend. The event runs for 4-6PM tonight and a flier was sent home with your student earlier about tonight's activities.

REMINDER: Wednesday, October 23 is an early release day for Staff PD and Training time. Students and buses will be release at 1PM so if you need to pick up your students, remember the early release time.

JH VB has added an away contest at Carrizozo on Friday, October 25 at 10AM. This is a reschedule from an earlier date so we could play the Varsity match on September 30.
Thursday, October 17 is Parent/Teacher Conferences for Corona Public Schools. Conferences will run from 8:30 to 3:30 with a 30 minute break for lunch around noon, depending on teacher schedules. This is a non-student day.
Please contact your student's teacher to schedule an appointment if the teacher has not already scheduled a meeting.
