We just received word that the FFA Meat sales will arrive on Monday. We had an amazing sale this year, and we need all FFA students to plan to pick up their meat and deliver it on Monday afternoon. PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE-W)RK SESSION/REGULAR BOARD MEETING: The Corona Public Schools Board of Education will be meeting on Wednesday, November 12, 2024, in the Board Room in Corona High School at 5:30PM. Agendas will be posted in the community at the Corona Public Library and Post Office. Also, Board Agendas may be viewed online at www.cpscardinals.org in the Board Agendas folder under the Documents tab of the website.

Corona Public Schools will be on a two hour delay for Thursday, Nov 7.

Because of weather forecast and various snowfall projections for the morning and the safety for all, CPS will be on a 2 hour delay. A decision will be made by 8am on school closure and notifications will be sent in the morning when the final decision is made.

Movie Night for tomorrow will be postponed until Nov 21st in the Auditorium. Thank you for your understanding.

The Hondo v Corona VB game has been moved to November 6 at 5PM in an effort to avoid incoming weather that is predicted. Players and coaches will be leaving at 1:45PM. Thank you for your understanding as we look out for the safety of all involved.

ATTENTION: Because of the predicted weather in the region for Thursday, the Hondo VB contest may be moved to Wednesday at Hondo at the same time. A decision will be made later today so we can get the contest in for districts. A notice will be sent out either way once the decision is made.

The rescheduled PD/Virtual Learning Day will occur on January 10, 2025. This will be the make up day for the date being moved from November 8, 2024. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

If your child is planning to play basketball they need to get their sports physicals ASAP. The start of the season is upon us. You will need to call for appointments at area clinics.

REMINDER: Tomorrow, November 5, 2024, is a state school holiday that is in statute for Election Day. There will be no online or in-person activities for the day. Enjoy your day and please look at exercising your rights as a voter on this important day.

ATTENTION: The Virtual Learning/Staff Professional Development Day for Friday, November 8, will be rescheduled to a future date as a conflict exists with the presenter and the FFA District Creed Contest being hosted at Corona. A date will be announced soon on the reschedule. Thanks for your understanding in the matter and will let you know the rescheduled date ASAP. There will be no learning activities for this Friday.

Alamo Navajo has arrived so game time will be as close to 1 as can be.

We just received word that Alamo Navajo's bus broke down. They are working to head this way but the game will be slightly delayed. We will try to keep everyone posted as we receive word.

Game Time Change- Today's game will be at 1:00 pm. With ref shortages we are at the mercy of the assignors and we apologize for the late notice.

We are BEYOND proud of our FFA Horse Judging Team. Harper Dunn was the National High Point Individual. Caysie Wood was the National 3rd High Point Individual. The team was the National 3rd Place Team overall with Hitch Dunlap and Kourtney Brandenberger also competing. They were rated as a Gold Star Team. Congratulations, Harper, Caysie, Hitch, Kourtney, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Patterson. Thanks, Pike, for being there to cheer them on.
